Tokyo, Japan—UPF-Japan commemorated UN World Interfaith Harmony Week 2018 by holding a forum with approximately 80 Ambassadors for Peace and representatives of Shintoism, Buddhism, Judaism, Islam and Christianity.
 
 
 
 
Abuja, Nigeria—UPF-Nigeria organized a series of activities to commemorate the 2018 United Nations World Interfaith Harmony Week (WIHW).
 
 
 
 

Bergamo, Italy—Sincere brotherhood and intense spirituality marked the 2018 celebration of World Interfaith Harmony Week.
 
 
 
 

Managua, Nicaragua—In observance of World Interfaith Harmony Week 2018, UPF-Nicaragua held a forum at a local university.
 
 
 
 
 
Bratislava, Slovakia—Utilizing the general interest in Korea during the Olympic Winter Games, UPF-Slovakia organized an event titled “Korea’s Traditions from a Historical Perspective.”

Interfaith Harmony Week hosted by Darebin-Whittlesea Interfaith Communities

Dear Friends & Partners,   

In the spirit of harmony, the Darebin Interfaith Council and the Whittlesea Interfaith Network are joining with thousands of partners around the globe to jointly host our UN World Interfaith Harmony Week event.

Theme: “The Power of Love - Paying it Forward”
Date & Time: Thursday, 8th February 2018, from 6pm–9pm
Venue: Mill Park Library, 394 Plenty Rd, Mill Park, Vic, 3082
Catering: Light refreshments provided 
Parking: Library car park, and along Bottlebrush Drive, The Link, and Bundy Place.
Public transport:  Bus 386, 387

Free event for the whole family, featuring:
  • Fun interactive audience performance by the renowned Melbourne Playback Theatre Company
  • Music of the Oud - An experience for all Music lovers
  • Albert Einstein’s letter of the power of love to his daughter

The event’s sponsors are: Darebin Interfaith Council, Whittlesea Interfaith Network, Al-Siraat College, Beacon of Hope, United Religions Initiative, Yarra Plenty Regional Library After-dark Program, Darebin Ethnic Communities Council and the Whittlesea Ethnic Communities Council.
