ASPIRE 2018: Young Muslim Women's Governance & Leadership Training Project


The Islamic Council of Victoria and the Sir Zelman Cowen Centre are inviting applications for Aspire 2018. We are looking for sixteen high-achieving and passionate young Muslim women aged 18 to 24 to complete the seven month leadership program in 2018. 
Places are strictly limited to 16 participants - apply now!
WHAT IS ASPIRE? 
Aspire is a seven month leadership and professional development program designed for ambitious young Muslim women who are actively involved in their community organisations and want to make a difference.
You will: 
  • Develop your leadership skills 
  • Spend a weekend away at camp 
  • Practice public speaking and managing the media 
  • Polish your CV and interview skills 
  • Network with other ambitious young women

How do I apply?
Submit your cover letter and CV online at www.vu.edu.au/aspire. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for an interview.

Is there a cost?
The program is fully sponsored so there is no cost for participants.

When do applications close? 
Hurry! Applications close on Sunday the 25th February, 2018.
