Hi Helen - 

I am involved with the Bayside Refugee Advocacy and Support Association and we are hosting an event with Gillian Triggs, Thursday 6 September at the Hampton Uniting Church, 17 Service Street, Hampton. The event will also feature photographs by Pullitzer prize-winning photographer, Yannis Behrakis. Behrakis is the Reuters chief photographer in Greece who captured haunting images of the refugee crisis in the eastern Mediterranean, as part of the New York Times team.  Is there any way you could publicise the event through the JCMA newsletter and network?  The event is free but there will be a silent auction to help raise money for the Australian Human Rights Law Centre and Justice Connect of which Triggs is Chair.
